After Market Bigvalve Head

I noticed that the after market BIGVALVE HEAD head having the same diameter/circumference to a stockhead at the exaust side where our elbow connected or header., and even at intake side. I bought a 22/20 SPS bigvale head and i noticed they are the same in stock head exaust and intake. Im planning to port the exaust but i dont know how big to be removed. Please help me how to calculate how many mm to be removed at the exaust side. The FORMULA if you have. Im using 62mm block ang 28mm pe carb....

Need Help Over Here, Please.

I have this problem with my MX, here's the history. :help:

I changed my stock carb to Keihin Thailand PE 28mm,

open carb, and matched the jettings fit for my set up, no problems.

Used it for a 200+ km ride, smooth-sailing, easily hitting 120kph,

but a noticable increase in fuel consumption.

Then maybe after 2 weeks or so, my MX starts to smoke on the exhausts.

I changed oil (Shell Ultra) and oil filter (OEM Yamaha), still smoking. :confused:

I checked the sparkplug because along side...

I just like to share my recent upgrade and probably the best upgrade that i have ever done. A few weeks ago i purchased from emcid a 62mm pitsbike bore up kit...all i can say is WOW!!! Im now at 800km of break-in and starting to test its full power. It has a very noticeable increase in power....the accelaration is great...as of now the fastest i have done is 140kph(100kg plus rider) but dont have to guts to go further even though the engine still have more. im still at stock carb and planning...

last week, nagpatune up ako then nagpalinis ng carb kc nga bumagal ung takbo ng SMX ko, then nacheck ng meckaniko na butas ug diaphram ng carb, so bumili ako kay sir traxxx nga 26mm mikuni carb, then pinakabit ko, after that nag biblink na yung thermo indicator 1 followed by 5 short blinks, pag naka on na yung ignition switch, then pag nakaandar na, steady na yung light...sabi ng mikaniko na taga yamaha 3s ok lang daw yun, dahil daw yung sa tps... pero as i observe,...

Limited Edition Sniper Mx

Just this morning i saw this unit at Tres Hermanas Yamaha 3S in Las Pinas. I was buying Yamalube Motor Oil. It's the 2013 Sniper MX GP Edition. According to the shop personnel I spoke to, It will be a limited edition. Yamaha Motor Co. will only release 500 units of its kind. Upon quick close inspection, here's what I notice:

New paint scheme - Race Blue and White

New decals. Including the Yamaha MotoGP slogan "SEMAKIN DI DEPAN (Always At The Front)". And the Yamaha Race Bolt trade mark....

Weird Sound From The Cyl.head When Engine Is Hot And Radiator Fan Does Not Turn On Even After A Ride

i wonder what causes the weird sound inside the cyl.head when the engine is hot? do you have any idea regarding this? it sounds like 2 metals scratching together. please help.

Break Piston Ring Slot

Hi all, I using 62mm stock piston with jack rod 0.5mm. Rebore std carb, chamber, thailand orange cdi, my prob is why I got crack or breakages on ring piston shoes, 1st I used x1r block n piston(forged) break, 2nd used oem hong leong can stands only 5 days, 3rd tym also using oem piston ring n stands 2 days, 3 tym change piston ring with x1r block, block no sign or problem, yesterday 1 buy 62mm shark block n piston set but stands only 1 day. All is about piston set gone, Could please help me...

masters need help about conversion ng sniper to X1r?

ill just need to ask if all the x1r fairings are bolt on to our sniper chassis or do we need to buy some brackets?
