Can Someone Explain Something About Cooling System?

i want to understand how the coolant rotates inside the the engine while running. Telling the truth, i have problem with my cooling system, and i want to gain knowledge about it before doing may DIY .



i know the parts and its functions like radiator, thermostat, water pump, i just don't understand the path the coolant takes when the engine is running. I just know from the radiator it goes into the water pump then what?
